King Cannibal And Wee DJs Remix Scorn For Combat Recordings

After a summer break a shrewd waiting for the darkness to fall again on the land to suit these two sinister reworkings of Scorn's Gravel Bed and Super Mantis released this month on Combat Recordings.

First up Wee DJs take on the distortion of Gravel Bed and push it through broken beat techno and dub step winding along very much fucked up experimental electro hardware machinery to hypnotic effect. 

King Cannibal's mix of Super Mantis is an instant killer of a track from point go. With etherial sirens posing as dystopian future rave horns without fail smashes it alongside a powerful driving 2 step beat.

Michael Forshaw: My Burds So Hairy She Needs Chemo EP

An EP with a title as rough and nasty humour a title as it's content, following from his storming set in the Fenchurch dome @ Bloc this year, Michael Forshaw is showing form in strength releasing a new 12" for Coin Operated Records. I already played out Grunt recently and it got massive response to it's hardcore rave breaks and accompanying tracks, Energise and Growler, are powered along with double bass kicks and acid lasers. It's a killer release.

ehr008 Matt Chester Outrider EP

The latest from 11th Hour recordings is Outrider EP by Matt Chester, which is out soon. We found that his trademark hardware made electro sound is formed into some very nice acid house with a twist. Reverse Evolution the beat is played upon with sparkles and melodic jazz improv diversions. The title track Outrider reverts to an electro broken beat and ambient dynamic that rounds off the EP nicely.
