The Sonic Lab @ Cable

There's some massive parties happening over the next few months, and this is one of the ones I'm most excited about. The Sonic Lab are getting together with Planet Mu, Organix and The Centrifuge for a massive party at Cable in London a 1000 capacity 3 room venue in London Bridge on Friday 21st May. I've not actually been to this club before so look forward to trying it out.

Looking forward to a nice breakcore rinse out from Snares and Shitmat, think this party will satisfy the urge for some twisted, dark and heavy beats, also excited about The Doubtful Guest, Rival Consoles (I missed them out the null+void party as I was on host duty) and INSTRA:MENTAL. Click the flyer to the left to see full line up.

Tickets are £12 Advance with NUS, then £15 / £18 after midnight on the night. Available to buy from Clubtickets.com.

An outstanding line up for I Love Acid's 3rd birthday party with Posthuman making a live rare appearance after a kicking release in 2009 on Handsette records and numerous others. Cursor Miner will be there too promoting his latest for Uncharted Audio (see previous n+v post here), Planet Mu's Syntheme is also playing live with her rave and acid disco, to top it all off UK Bass man Debasser is playing live. What a line up. And check out the mix above by Hanal who will be warming up on the night for Balkan sounds.

Wisp European Tour Blowout Party with null+void

null+void are proud to announce that we're hosting the 2nd room in The Centrifuge's Wisp Tour Blowout party next month. This is an amazing opportunity to showcase the artists that we are most excited about. First up headlining is Paul Blackford, founding boss of Militant Science records who month after month put out killer dancefloor and experimental electro tracks. Paul's own production is the cleanest yet dirtiest electro bass around blowing the minds of his fans.

A former null+void podcaster Richard Wigglesworth, who recently appeared on the first of the Balkan Vinyl series of relases with a collaboration with God like legend Luke Vibert and premiered his latest live set based on new album Merri Portland. Richard also runs his own label Tudor Beats putting out digital and vinyl releases.

Thirdly but not leastly is Scrace, also of Paul Blackford's Militant Science label. Greg's production and live sets have knocked the socks off Appleblim and range from dub stepped filthy skanks to absolutlely kicking electro beats. My favourite track so far is Ford which has had DJ support from Radioactive Man who caned it at Glade last year.

Plus DJ suport from myself and The Centrifuge's Brap.fm radio host Ursa.

The Centrifuge room is massive too as you can see on the flyer see Facebook below for their hype. A Replex Records artist in the house is nuff said plus Rival Consoles is some of the best live hardware acid I've ever heard for the dancefloor.

Finally tropical grime party vibes from Pollinate and Neon Skullz round up the third room.

Tickets are available to buy now at a measly £7 + 50p booking fee

Centrifuge Birthday in Berlin

Stormfield / Combat AV : Inner Silence from Stormfield Slewdem on Vimeo.

The Centrifuge are celebrating 3 successful years working with electronic music as a net label, events promoter and just recently they have launched an artist management arm to the organisation.

They have recently relocated their HQ main man missaw to Berlin, it has so much potential to create waves there presenting the underground UK sound of dance music.  Headlining is a very special rare appearance from Replex's Bogdan Raczynsky and you can expect Cursor Miner to play the finest fucked up electro and Stormfield of Combat Recordings to provide heavy and dark beats and images also performing an AV set a sneak peak can be seen above taken from Plex.

The Centrifuge 3rd Birthday is on Friday 26th February at Tachels, Berlin from 10pm til morning. For more information see the Facebook event.
