Glade Festival Launch New Website

Glade festival are back! We're so happy to see this there was a decidedly big hole in electronic music programming last year, not to say quality was lacking in other events, it just wasn't the same.

Tickets have been on sale for a short while to the Glade family and have already sold half of the capacity - a great start for the festival's back to the roots approach for this year. And this week Glade launched their new website. No line up announcements have been made as yet but what we can see is what stages are on board for 2011 - Glade, Origin, Overkill, Rabbit Hole, Inspiral, Nexus, Nanosystems and Wellbeings have all been confirmed.

The venue is being kept a secret for the time being and the date of the festival has been moved up to mid June running from the 10th -12th.

Festa Junina

We're very lucky to have this festival reciprocated on our cold and damp side of the atlantic, Festa Junina is the festival of June celebrated anually in sunny Brasil. It's a mad cap 24 event with many of the UK's roughest techno and electro DJ's and live acts happening this weekend. Here's the line-up:

Plex @ Extract Festival, Leeds

This July Leeds promoters Detatched are throwing a 15 hour techno festival with null+void's friends Plex hosting the 3rd room.

The line up is huge, and tickets are just £20 / £25, doors 5pm and the event runs until 8am Sunday morning.

Glade Festival Website Launch + Orbital Announced

Just landed in my email inbox is the first press release for Glade 2010 and headliner announcements for Orbital, Simian Mobile Disco and Tricky with more big acts to be confirmed soon. The name of the game is to keep diversifying and developing the music while keeping the unique vibe and crowd, which they managed to do last year really well making it my best festival experience ever. Bloc are onboard again too guaranteeing my techno and electro fix.

The new website's design is easier to use and load than last year's ambitious interactive vision, and looks good too. There's still plenty of interactivity planned with festival goers going to be invited to design camping areas around the site, html buttons to share your love and an iPhone app due to be launched soon.

Bloc Announces Model 500 + Autechre Mix

Announced today are Model 500 live so that is two techno legends on the stage perfroming toghther. Then we have had it confirmed that Derrick May will be closing the festival on Sunday, if it's anything like Carl Craig's last year it will be bouncy techno joy til the bitter beautiful end.

This is absolutely massive we won't see anywhere else techno party. I've posted the line up flyer here just to show how many quality acts are confirmed.
