This fortnight Galaxian takes over the null+void broadbandways with a live electro / techno dub set.

He's got some great releases coming out this year, keep an eye out on null+void and the Kiersty1984 twitter feed to stay up to date.

So we know it's Plex in London on Friday night but there's a couple of events in Reading on Saturday night worth travelling to...if you don't live in Reading. If you do live in Reading you should definitely go out to both of these.

All round dub and roots legend DJ Derek is at The Oakford (Facebook event) and then All Your Base are hosting a room at Play the relaunch night of Plug n Play Studios which is now going to be called Play Reading. I spent a fair bit of time there DJing and partying it is sort of like Corsica Studios but a little bit smaller.

Tayo is in the mainroom playing a breaks to dubstep set while All Your Base have got a pretty massive line up in the second room with:

The latest from 11th Hour recordings is Outrider EP by Matt Chester, which is out soon. We found that his trademark hardware made electro sound is formed into some very nice acid house with a twist. Reverse Evolution the beat is played upon with sparkles and melodic jazz improv diversions. The title track Outrider reverts to an electro broken beat and ambient dynamic that rounds off the EP nicely.

Found this on Spannered radio again, I came across them first for the Datassette mixtape a few months ago. This time one of my favourite prodcuers Alpha606 is provided a live set. Which is good because my brain was a bit too twisted to appreciate seeing him live this summer at Russian Bar. Think it's got something to do with steel drum and cow bells.

Luke Handsfree of London's Plex party and Handsette Records ,responsible for releasing Posthuman's latest smasher Landier, has shared a recent mix from playing Utrecht, Holland. It's very cool and a great pre-cursor for the Plex flyers which are landing tomorrow. I will post up the new line-up in full then. I am especially happy with this one as it will be my own Plex DJ debut! Until then enjoy the mix.
