Most of you will have seen this already, but as Mr. Jenkinson so kindly asks bloggers to post where they can how could I not re-post this video. Made to promote a live CD available to buy now from his website here.
One of the characterists of Tudor Acid's production is the intricasy of his beat programming, creating cyclical sonic structures that are challenging but pleasurable to listen to. The background story to his music has been revealed for Tudor Acid's latest release and for the track Glass Walls in particular, the track is the workings of a mind influenced by Asperger Syndrome - working through this world and creating other realms of beauty.
Part 07 sees both Tudor Acid and Posthuman revisit the track Glass Walls which was on the first release of the series. You can listen to the Tudor Acid remix here on null+void in this excerpt you can stream below, where he adds in more of agroove to the avant garde side of his musicality, and inrelation to Asberger making progress in dealing with the disposition. I'm enjoying hearing this element coming through more and more as the Wrong Side of Day series progresses, and the path of Tudor Acid in general.
From the people responsibleBalkan Vinyl and West London's long running 303 loyal I Love Acid parties, is a release that features tracks from legendary and udnerground artists from across the board that include LFO, Ben Sims and Luke Vibert to raise money for DEC's East Africa Appeal.
Money raised will go directly to DEC, you can also donate here (Gift Aid). (Note that donating via Just Giving adds Gift Aid to the donation so maybe donate here and then download the release for free or for a nominal price)
We published this last week but thought it time to give it a special extra word on the main blog.
An intoxicating foray into vintage acid house and techno sounds, but made today by Nottingham born Roy of the Ravers currently happily releasing for our friends over at The Centrifuge.
