Out Now: Mark Archer - Microdots

This is simply acid house, made today by Mark Archer (formerly of seminal rave outfit Altern8) staying true to the sounds and the vibe of the genre but benefiting from tweaks of today's technology. Mainly lead by the iconic sounds of the 303, the tracks are finely tuned and supported by sub bass. 

It comes at a time where there's a wave of new generation producers investigating the music of the original acid house era with a feeling of nostalgia, yet here is a producer who was there at the time, revisiting the music today in a way it sounds more real, the release has dynamics and a good load more boom and bang, actually made for the rave. Or as the release page puts it "Straight up acid house".
